Data-driven work

We are documenting cases of killings of women in Germany since 2019 with over 60 categories per case on a daily basis. On this basis we offer:

  • Detailed data on femi(ni)cides since 2019 in Germany

  • Guidance for researchers who would like to do research on feminicides and / or use our data

  • Our own analysis of the data, published in yearly reports and other publications

  • Interviews and media requests

  • Political consulting and position papers

Educational Work

We offer educational formats such as workshops, talks or panel contributions on key topics related to feminicide.

  • Terminology and theory: Understanding the concept of Femi(ni)cide, Feminicide Theory, and its socio-political contexts.

  • Global and interdisciplinary perspectives: Insights into Latin American movements on feminicides, areas of action, and interdisciplinary approaches.

  • Critical media analysis: Journalistic expertise on feminicide reporting, examining critical perspectives on media language and representations of feminicides in Germany and Turkey.

  • Data and representation: Insights into counter-data practices and data activism, challenges of representation in official data, resenting our feminicide data.
